Located near the town centre, our luxury apartment is beautifully appointed and inviting. The town centre, Seafront and Royal William Yard is a short car or bus ride away or can be a lovely walk too on a beautiful sunny day. Originally a Victorian school, it was built in 1897 to commemorate 60 years reign of Her Majesty Queen Victoria. Come the millennium, it was converted into duplex apartments. The building itself is full of original Victorian features, including an impressive stained-glass window by Fouracre and Son.
I am originally from London but my wife, Sarah, is a 'Janner' (the local name for a Plymothian). Sarah, my wife but girlfriend at the time, moved from Plymouth to live with me in London. We lived in London for approx 20 years before deciding to move back to Plymouth. It was the right decision as we both love Plymouth and my wife missed her family and friends. My wife and I feel that a personal meet and greet with all our guests at check-in is the least that we can do. Your personal time is very precious and important to us so that is the only time you will see us, unless you state otherwise! We can be contacted at any time as we would like you to enjoy your stay and leave with nothing but good memories and smiles.
Plymouth, also known as The Ocean City, is located on the edge of Devon leading into Cornwall. Whatever your preference, Plymouth can cater for all types of holidays and weekend breaks away from hiking on the glorious Moors to the spectacular views of Plymouth Hoe and the historic cobbled roads of The Barbican, both richly steeped with local history including the famous Sir Francis Drake and The Pilgrim Fathers to name but a few. Visit the newly regenerated Royal William Yard and choose from one of the many recommended restaurants or bars for the evening with a choice of eating ‘al fresco’ whilst overlooking the harbour. Plymouth is rich in the local arts and crafts too, why not book a table at a nearby restaurant and enjoy an evening at the famous Theatre Royal or slowly walk down the cobbled streets of The Barbican enjoying one of the many art galleries and beautifully made local glass on show. Take a boat trip on the Cremyll ferry from The Barbican or Royal William Yard to Mount Edgcumbe or enjoy a day trip to Wembury, Noss Mayo or Mothecombe, one of the many beautiful rugged coastlines that are at Plymouth’s doorstep.
