Luxury caravan on Turnberry Holiday Park with stunning views across the Firth of Clyde to Ailsa Craig. On the Ayrshire coastal path which runs 100 miles along one of the finest panoramic coastlines in the British Isles. Caravan sleeps 4 and features 1 king size bedroom with en-suite and 1 twin room. Fully double glazed with central heating and free wifi with access to Netflix and Prime. Fully equipped kitchen. Decking area with patio furniture with spectacular views over to Ailsa Craig.15/20 minutes walk to beach. Few minutes drive to Trump Turnberry and its fabulous golf course. The site is small and quiet. Bingo on a Friday and live music on Saturday in the bar. Girvan is 6 km away and has an amazing long sandy beach, a fabulous play park and boating pond for the kids.
Partially retired and living life to the full. My husband Alan and I love holidays in Scotland and abroad. We especially love the South Ayrshire coast and that’s one of the reasons we bought our caravan here. We holidayed here as kids and my ancestors came from Ireland and landed in a small boat on the Ballantrae shore not far from the site so I’ve always felt a pull towards this area. Sitting on the decking with a glass of wine looking over to Ailsa Craig or watching the wildlife in the field beyond is just heaven. This is a small, quiet site and the owners are all very friendly. Entry to van will be via key in lockbox located on decking post. Code will be provided before arrival. Contact afterwards will be by phone or text. I only live 10 minutes away so can get to site quickly in emergencies.
Small, family friendly caravan park. 20 min walk to the beach. If you don’t have a car, there’s a hourly bus service into Girvan or taxis available where you’ll find a long sandy beach, swing park, boating pond, amusement arcades. The bus stop is at the farm shop as you come into the site. Visit nearby Culzean Castle and Dunure Castle which are steeped in history or take a visit to Rabbie Burns birthplace in Ayr or the stunning Dumfries House in Cumnock. There are several fabulous cafes and restaurants nearby which I’ll send details of when you book.
