The converted Goods Wagon used for transporting bananas is your sleeping quarters with a beautiful comfy double bed. The en-suite has a large shower for your comfort. Breakfast can be taken outside in the sunshine or in the external 1950s style kitchen which overlooks a wildflower meadow where muntjac deer regularly graze. You are welcome to wander the meandering paths in the meadow and enjoy the flora and fauna or sit and just be. Buzzards, marsh harriers and sparrow hawks are regular visitors and often give an amazing aerial display. Binoculars provided will give you a ring side seat. A short walk up the drive brings you to all the village amenities. The local supermarket has an in house bakery ideal for breads and pastries. There are eateries to suit all tastes. There is fine dining, two Indian restaurants, Chinese takeaway, fish and chips, pub and British Legion. There are also two garden centres, both with excellent cafes.
