Manannan is a bright, comfortable & welcoming static van. It has 2 bedrooms, the main bedroom has a small double bed and ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom is a twin room with single beds. The main bathroom has a large shower. The kitchen is fitted with kettle, toaster, microwave and gas oven & hob. The lovely lounge area is comfortable and bright, with a dinning table and chairs. The beds will be made up on your arrival. **Please note we DO NOT supply towels.** Situated on a small holiday park, the site is a mile from the beach on the Solway Firth, overlooking Dumfries & Galloway. The park has its own bar, restaurant and weekend entertainment during peak season. There is a small play area and football pitch for the younger ones.

We would like to welcome everyone to Manannan.........the Lord of the sea!! Being from the Isle of Man we had to have a name associated with the island!! Hence we are also bikers !!! We have thoroughly enjoyed exploring the area....fab little biker caf in Keswick, which offers excellent food and a great meeting place to meet like minded people! We are new to hosting, but hopefully we can offer a comfortable property at an affordable price and hope that anyone who stays thoroughly enjoys the park and area as much as we do.

Allonby is a tiny village about 2 miles from the park, with a couple of pubs and the famous Twentymans Ice Cream parlour, which gets extremely busy on sunny days! The city of Carlisle is about 45mins away where you can visit the castle, cathedral and the famous Hadrians Wall. There is a great aviation museum near Carlisle airport, where they have various planes and a Vulcan bomber !! The area is well worth a visit with the picturesque Lake District on the doorstep, great for walkers, cyclists, families and many quaint villages for romantic couples! Motorcyclists like ourselves will be love the many miles of winding roads, country lanes and epic passes that take your breath away........and are more than welcome to stay!
