There are many country pubs and cafes nearby for a meal or drink. The property is situated a few miles North of Leicester City centre, just a short drive or bus ride away. There is a bus stop 30 seconds walk from the house. The property is located just off the M1 at Junction 22, and is also right next to the A50 for convenient travel into Leicester city centre. The property is a terraced property with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs and a lounge and kitchen diner downstairs. There is a table with 4 chairs to dine at. There is a small enclosed garden at the rear and a small driveway at the front on which you can park diagonally. The property boasts a brand new bathroom suite and has been freshly decorated and tastefully styled throughout. You will find the home to be meticulously cleaned and prepared for your stay, with special touches such as hotel style toiletries and tea and coffee sachets provided to get you started. My name is Julie and I started hosting this property in December 2024. I used to live in the property and it was my first home so I have great love for the place and do everything I can to care for it and make it a pleasant and beautiful place for people to stay. It has a lovely feel to it and is warm and welcoming with lovely décor throughout.

There is a shop, post office, cash machine, post-box, Doctor's surgery and pharmacy a 30 second walk from the property. There is also a bus stop even closer than that from where you could get a bus into Leicester City Centre. In Markfield there are several takeaways, and a Co-op which has a cash machine outside. There is also a café on the main street. The property is a few minutes walk from a grassy open field and children's playground. There are 3 pubs in Markfield village, my personal favourite being The Field Head, which serves great food, hosts regular tribute nights and has a wonderful atmosphere and is nicely decorated throughout.
