Mellowstones is a 3 bedroom holiday home in the picturesque village of Broad Campden, offering comfortable and well furnished accommodation for up to six people. Located approximately 1 mile from the picturesque market town of Chipping Campden, this cottage is the perfect base for a relaxing holiday and from which to tour the Cotswolds. Chipping Campden is a traditional wool market town with beautiful buildings, wonderful independent shops and many excellent restaurants. Located in the popular North Cotswold village of Broad Campden, you are perfectly situated to access many of the small villages in the North Cotswolds. There is a traditional country pub, The Bakers Arms, serving food in the village and Chipping Campden is within walking distance either by road or via footpaths across fields.

The village of Broad Campden is surrounded by the beautiful rolling countryside of the North Cotswolds which is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Off the beaten track, and therefore avoiding heavy tourist traffic, Broad Campden allows visitors to feel a real sense of rural life. With many wonderful country walks, through fields and farmland, this peaceful and idyllic village benefits from having a well-regarded country pub, an historic parish church, notable for its unusual round bellcote and the oldest Friends Meeting House in the country (17th Century). Located at the top end of this picturesque village, Mellowstones is just a 2 minute walk from the the Bakers Arms who serve fabulous food and delicious real ales with indoor and outdoor seating. The Bakers was first licenced as a public house in 1724 (it was also the village bakery and grain store in 1905!). Chipping Campden is the nearest town which is 1 mile away by road or a 20/30 minute walk depending on whether you walk along the road / footpath or whether you choose one of the field footpath walks Broad Campden has to offer. Chipping Campden has a good selection of independent retailers and several pubs and restaurants. The little town of Chipping Campden, regarded by many as the ‘Jewel of the Cotswolds’, is one of the most beautiful places to stay in the UK. Characterised by the honey-coloured Cotswold Stone, there are many thatched cottages, as well as old stone houses in the town that have retained their original look. It is no wonder that Chipping Campden is regarded as one of the most picturesque in the North Cotswold region.
