Having firmly embraced the British holiday getaway culture, we knew that comfort, style and elegance were mandatory in our three accommodations. Ignoring frills and fuss we wanted clean, crisp, simplicity, blended with luxurious and comforting interiors. You won’t find polycotton bedding, dust-ridden carpets or magnolia walls. Instead we’ve included things in our houses which we would like to find ourselves – Egyptian cotton linen, feather pillows and fluffy towels, beautiful bathrooms, cosy living rooms, and well-equipped kitchens.
We are a family-run business, established by Steve and Sue, and managed by their daughter Lorna. We live just a couple of minutes' walk away and here to help if guests experience any problems during their stay.
The historic Welsh market town of Hay on Wye, famous for its international literary festival and as a centre for second hand books, is busy with visitors throughout the year. It’s the perfect town to mooch around, visiting the independent galleries, bookshops, and antique stores. There are lots of good places for a cappuccino or a meal out, with a range of quality cafes, pubs and restaurants both in town and in the countryside nearby.
