Our new kitchen includes a washer/dryer, DW, oven, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle and Nespresso Coffee machine with tea, coffee, oils and seasonings provided. We are a family of five with three boys. We are the fourth generation of our family to regularly holiday in Broadstairs…we are sure you will love it as much as us and we hope that you enjoy and love our home as much as we do! Broadstairs is full of nostalgic old-world seaside charm. Seven sandy beaches to choose from, or walk or pedal the 25-mile Viking coastal trail. Clifftop walks, independent shops, galleries, restaurants, cafes, bars and pubs as well as small supermarkets, butchers and bakeries all on your doorstep. There’s always a festival on: Blues Bash in February, Dickens Week in June, Bandstand musicians throughout the summer, the Water Gala in July/August, Folk Week in August, and the Food and Drink Festival in October. Just a few miles away you have Margate with Dreamland, the Old Town with lots of independent shops, restaurants, cafes, antique shops, and the Turner Contemporary gallery. Or Ramsgate with its Royal Harbour - take out a boat for seal watching or fishing, or just to watch the boats from its cafes and bars. For golfers there is North Foreland golf course and Royal St Georges golf course in Sandwich. Canterbury is only a 30 minute drive or train ride away, with its spectacular cathedral, city walls, restaurants, shops and parks. Step back in time at one of our nearby castles - Dover, Deal, Walmer, Leeds and Rochester Castles are all easily reached by car or rail.
