Step away from the routine and relax in the charming surroundings of No. 4 Invereoch. The stone building is a converted stable dating back to 1774, which has been beautifully renovated whilst retaining a traditional cottage feel. The property has two bedrooms - one double room and one twin room, and a spacious, modern shower room. There is an open plan kitchen/lounge area with cosy wood burning stove and large dining table with bench seating. The property does not have a private garden, however there is a quiet, picturesque shared courtyard (not enclosed) with outdoor seating. It is a peaceful, relaxing neighbourhood. Due to allergies we are only able to allow hypo-allergenic dogs at the property, one dog per booking. This is at a small additional cost and must be requested when making your booking.
The village of Arrochar is set in the heart of Loch Lomond National Park, so is perfectly positioned to explore destinations such as Inveraray, Oban, Dunoon and the scenic Loch Lomond. It is less than an hour from Glasgow with good transport links. Arrochar itself is a hillwalkers paradise, offering mountains and trail walks to suit every ability. Ben Arthur, famously known as ‘The Cobbler’ has as distinctive and remarkable an outline as any mountain in the country. Only the bravest will ‘thread the needle’ at the summit! Loch Long is just a two minute walk away where you can enjoy activities such as fishing, kayaking or paddleboarding from the jetty.
