The Lamplighter features a top rated traditional restaurant, lounge bar and terraces, serving real ales and Lakeland specialities. Property information

We have run The Lamplighter since I was 5 with my dad being a classically trained chef. We love food & drink & are always looking for new things & to evolve those that are old. We are in the enviable position that our work is our hobby.

Neighbourhood information

The whole of The Lake District is one giant play ground or so my children tell me. Water sports, extreme sports, a long walk on a beautiful autumn day. The relaxed pace, the stunning scenery, the amazing food and beverage available. Take your pick!
