The picturesque scenery through the Cheviot Valley in this part of the Scottish Borders is some of the most dramatic and beautiful in the country. The Old Manse Annex is the ideal base to explore the outdoors then on a chilly evening, nip over to the welcoming local pub, before relaxing with your feet up in front of the wood burner. The large bedroom upstairs has been fitted with a zip-n-link bed which can be split to form 2 singles or one large super kingsize bed. The shower room is also upstairs and has a large double shower. The main living area is on ground level and the open plan living room and kitchen are bright, modern and comfortable. Edinburgh to the north is some 80 minutes by car and Newcastle and the Northumberland Coast is a beautiful drive just to the east.
