December brings the Christmas market to the village. The bustling market town of Skipton with its Norman castle, canal trips and golf course can be reached within 10 miles. Nearby there are pubs, restaurants, coffee shops and individual shops selling a wide variety of local treasures, as well as a post office and supermarket and a bus service to get you back.
