The owners live in the local area and can be contacted at all times if necessary. Marcella is from Zeewolde, Netherlands and speaks fluent Dutch. Her husband Duncan is a native of Killiecrankie.

Its central location makes it a perfect starting point for day trips, with a great many of Scotland's most famous tourist attractions within 90 mins drive. This, combined with the wealth of attractions in the more immediate vicinity, will easily fill the most energetic of tourists itinerary. The local bus service runs through Killiecrankie several times daily, with a slightly reduced service at the weekend. Both Pitlochry and Blair Atholl have a train station, as well as several taxi companies. The proximity of the a9 means Edinburgh Airport can be reached in approx. 1 hour 35 minutes of driving time, with Glasgow Airport only 10 minutes further. Inverness lies around 1 hours drive to the North.
