Charming terraced cottage in the picturesque golf town of Carnoustie. Located in a quiet neighborhood with views of Carnoustie House Grounds. Walking distance to Carnoustie Championship Golf Course, beaches, parks, shops and restaurants. Short drive to St. Andrew's Golf Course, Glamis castle and other local attractions. Steps to large green space with play park and trails. Beautifully decorated interior and large back garden with outdoor seating.
Carnoustie is very special to us. It’s where Neil grew up and went to school. He played in the Carnoustie House Grounds park, just across Queen Street and at the beautiful beach, just a five-minute walk down the hill from our cottage. We now live near Toronto, Canada and recently purchased this beautiful cottage as a vacation home for our family, and to share with guests from around the world.
Beautiful seaside town with plenty to offer: a variety cuisines (Indian, Thai, pub food, fish and chips), championship golf course, play park and trails along the seafront, public beaches and plenty of local cafes. Walking distance to Carnoustie Championship Golf Course, shops, restaurants and beaches. There is a large park with trails and a play structure directly across the street. There is free street parking available so you can explore some of the attractions further afoot such as: St Andrews (40 minute drive), Edinburgh (1.5 hour drive), Highlands (40 minute drive). You can also catch a train to just about anywhere in the UK from Carnoustie train station which is within walking distance as well.
