Pendragon – A Hidden Gem in Cornwall’s Natural Beauty Nestled in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Pendragon offers the perfect base to explore some of Cornwall’s most breathtaking beaches, including the iconic and much-photographed Pedn Vounder. This charming, self-contained two-storey cottage is attached to our main house and provides easy access to open countryside and a wealth of stunning coastal spots. Ideally located, Pendragon is just 3 miles from both the North and South Cornish coasts, giving you the best of both worlds all within easy reach. Roadside parking is available for 1 car adjacent to the cottage, additional cars can be parked within 10mtrs. The cottage has recently been fully and beautifully refurbished with central heating and traditional cottage features. Downstairs features an open-plan living area with adjustable lighting, a smart TV, and a cosy log burner set beneath an oak mantle—perfect for cooler evenings (fuel provided for your first fire). The limestone flooring complements the soft leather sofas, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The well-equipped fitted kitchen includes an oven, induction hob, dishwasher, fridge, and a dining table—ideal for relaxed meals at home. Upstairs there are 2 simple carpeted double bedrooms, one with an oak king size bed, the other has 2 oak single beds which can easily be brought together if required. Both rooms have a nice tub chair and oak storage facilities. The shower room is small but functional with a good size walk in electric shower with a toilet, and wash basin. Outside there is a patio area for your enjoyment with seating, solar lighting, outside tap and facilities for the safe use of disposable BBQ's with garden views. Minimum 2 night stays between mid September and June, arrival and departure days to suit you. Late June to mid September minimum 4 night stays with departure day being a Friday. Arrival time 4.30pm onwards, departure time by 9.30am. Fire safety compliant.

Ideally located just 3 miles from both the North and South coasts, Pendragon also offers easy access to the renowned B3306 road from St Just to St Ives—ranked by Visit England as one of the top 10 most scenic drives in the country. Whilst a car is essential during your stay at Pendragon, if you enjoy walking the 'iwalkcornwall' app provides a wealth of information and can help you plan your walking adventures. A car will also mean you are within a short drive of beaches like Sennen, Porthcurno, Pedn Vounder, Praa Sands to name a few. Landmarks include Lands End, St Michael's Mount, the village of Zennor, the ancient village of Chysauster, and the many tin mines. It’s hard to overlook the stunning sweep of Mount’s Bay, stretching from the picturesque village of Mousehole through Newlyn and along Penzance’s promenade to the sandy shores of Marazion. Here, you’ll find the iconic St Michael’s Mount, accessible by foot at low tide via its ancient causeway or by boat when the tide is in. Penzance has many shops, pubs and restaurants including the infamous Chapel Street which is home to the Egyptian House and the Admiral Benbow. Penzance Harbour is the hop on/off ferry point if you fancy a day trip on the Scillonian to the picturesque Isles of Scilly, alternatively you can take the helicopter from the heliport or the Skybus from Lands End.
