A Cozy modern self contained garden room set in very peaceful surroundings. It is only a 10 minute walk to the centre of Portree and 5 minute walk to the big Supermarket. You are in a perfect central place to visit all areas of Skye and you have a Shower, Kitchenette, Microwave, Fridge, luxury Kingsize Divan Bed and outdoor seating area with a garden view. Very private, quiet and extremely safe. Superfast Wifi for Skye at 40 mb + so streaming or work is no problem. Wifi code can be found on the welcome note. The TV is wifi connected and has a NOW TV box and you can connect to your own Netflix account. Feel free to access BBC, ITV, CH4 and Channel 5 using the APPS. There is a tasy authentic Italian Pizza van, "Pizza in the Skye" next door. The Isle of Skye Bakery is our neighbour. Storage for bikes can be arranged next to cabin. You are situated in the centre of Skye for trips by boat or land to World Class sites, restuarants and venues. Buses can be used to reach us as well and you are within walking distance for all amenities Portree has to offer. Our toilet system is a Macerator pump so please use small plastic bags provided for any wipes, sanitary or material products.

We are Martin and Karen with 2 boys. We are very proud of our little Garden Room and really look after all our guests needs as much as we can. I try to meet you at some point, if not on arrival. Please knock on our door for any help or advice. For longer stays we certainly can help with drying/ small wash/ oven cooking. There is also dry space to store bikes next to the chalet. I am a teacher at the High school and my wife Karen also works in the Community centre so between us we know almost everyone on the Island. We have lived on Skye for 17 years. We can offer great tips and advice and I make a point of chatting to all my guests. Nothing is a problem for us and just ask.

Tea, coffee and some milk is available during your stay. You are also next to the Isle of Skye bakery and Pizza in the Skye. Access to the local leisure or fingal centre is available with the use of the leisure cards. Cards, pool and fitness class timetables are in your room. This would normally COST leisure rates but you can get access FREE of charge. Please ensure cards are left in the room for the next guests but be sure to take advantage of a free swim, sauna, steam room etc. A good rainy day option !! Bins/ Refuse. There is a BLUE bin for cans and paper/ cardboard. Any glass or bottles can be taken to bottle bank. General waste is our GREEN bin. Feel free to use or just leave next to bin and we will deal with it. Strictly No smoking indoors but you can on our decking. There is however a lovely outdoor sitting space that gets the sun early evening 4 till sundown and just perfect after a long day touring
