Hello there, I am Lily and I would be delighted yo welcome you in my home.
Welcome to my little home. Thank you . While this is not a perfectly appointed luxury hotel, I do pride my self in the fact that everything here has been done mostly by me. I do hope that you will find this place charming , cosy and most of all comfortable and relaxing. I converted this space in 2021, but welcomed my first guests in the spring of 2022. Although compact, I have tried to create individual spaces, where my guests can relax, cooked meal or have a drink, watching a film, play games or just chat. All though there is not a central heating, there are multiple heaters-electric fire in the living area & oil radiator, near the bed. One thing for sure- it is not cold . Additional little hot air heater is also available. Evenings and nights are extremely quiet. But I love when guests feel comfortable, talking , listening to music and feeling home. Everything I have done, may not be perfect, but is done with all my love, passion and desire to offer my guests a care free great stay. El Patio is perfect for eating alfresco, bbq, making pizza, having cocktails on the sun loungers, or sitting under the shabby straw roof, talking , while toasting some marshmallows on the fire pit. I welcome pets-dogs, cats, Parrots to mention few, there is an outside shower to facilitate easy clean after muddy forest walk, or sandy beach days. There are food and drink balls, shampoo, pooh bags, few toys, for your lovely furry friends. One thing I ask is for my "no animals on furniture" policy to be strictly respected.Kindly thank you in advance .The honesty bar, with drinks, alcohol, beers, many snacks, ice and other bits, was inspired from my own experience of those lazy nights or days when one just want to relax. Everything has a small price, so cash is KING.There are games, cook/ books to read, speaker, chargers, some info on the area and more. If my guests need anything - I would always do my best to facilitate of resolve, or find someone who can. But Please do not be shy to ask.
Hello there, my name is Lily and I am delighted to welcome you into my home. I have been living in Lymington since I first step in the UK in 2007, following the man who become the father of my 3children, who are now teenagers. I have Son Boris 16, and daughter and son twins ( cleaver me ;) )who are 13! I am opera singer, actor, I paint, make things and adore DIY, apart from other many passions in my life. I'm very passionate about food, and love to feed my friends and family. Breakfast is available to order in advance and the price per person is 12,50 . ( if you want to spoil your selves one morning) . While raising my 3 children, stuck at home, I opened a 5 ***** bed and breakfast in our large family home. I loved meeting all the wonderful strangers, many of whom became repeated guests, and some even friends. After separating and moving in this house- a total project, I decided to convert the workshop /garage into the Annex. I absolutely love what I do, although I am sure at times I fail. I have learned you can not please every single person, and that is OK. But I always ask my guests for recommendations, criticism , open conversation about what works and what doesn't . As I really want to continue to develop and improve. For that I am grateful. I hope this will give you little bit od an idea who your host is, and hopefully you will feel comfortable and at home, while staying here! Enjoy!
The area where we are situated is part of Lymington but bordering with Pennington. In the olden days Pennington was associated with deprivation and few dodgy habitants. Those days are long gone, and this is becoming a very trendy area, popular with young educated families. We are only 15 min from the top pf the charming high str of Lymington, passing by Waitrose, and a great gastro pub called The town house, that offers great atmosphere with a restaurant, great bar with big garden, live music and friendly people. My house is bordering with a lovely grave yard, which people use for walks. Not too far from here, there is a pond which also is a great place to take a dog for a walk. We have Fish and chips, Curry and Chinese take aways only 15 min walking distance. Tesco express half way there. Another great pub, walking distance ( about 20/25/30 min, depending on the person) is the Monkey house brewery , own by a young family with passion for beers, where many are available to try, and even buy for home. Food is great. Many nights per week they have live music, games both indoors or in their big garden! If you want the forest , only 10min drive will bring you in the open beautiful forest, where you can see New Forest ponies, donkeys , and if lucky caws and pigs... There are many walks and tracks to discover. Lymington Art museum is the home of beautiful art gallery and the Information Centre. Worth to visit. If you want Water- the key on the bottom of Lymington high str. The cobble street is very quaint and charming with lovely independent shops, galleries, amazing wine and cocktails bar, Elderflower restaurant(for the truly foodies)French restaurant offering degustation menu& wine to pair each course. You will get to the key where you will be faced with stunning view. There are boat rides, ice creams, fudge The ship inn serves drinks and food, and often people are sat outside with friends, drinking and having a great time, while the kids crab or feed the swans. Enjoy
