Holiday Inn York City Centre is a modern hotel, within the historic city walls. It has stylish rooms with air conditioning, flat-screen TVs, free WiFi, a restaurant for breakfast service and a cocktail bar with a lounge menu for light snacks throughout the day. The modern rooms have hairdryers, tea/coffee-making facilities, ironing facilities and walk-in power showers with complimentary toiletries. Disabled rooms, double rooms with twin beds and interconnecting rooms are available on request. Certain double rooms also have a sofa bed to accommodate up to 2 children up to the age of 12 years. A 24-hour room service is available. There are a number of parking options within a few minutes' walk of the hotel, the closest being the Peel Street Pay & Display, which is 300 feet away. Holiday Inn York City Centre is less than 3.2 km from York Racecourse and 1.6 km from York Rail Station. The major attractions are a short walk away.
