Riding Gate Lodge is a large luxurious two bedroomed holiday home in the heart of the Somerset countryside. Whether you are a couple wanting to treat yourself to some rest and rejuvenation, or a family looking for your own private space for some well-deserved time together, Riding Gate Lodge has much to offer.
We are a local family of 4, loving living in the beautiful Somerset countryside. We came to live here at Riding Gate to live a more peaceful and self-sustaining life, and love to share our produce lifted from our own hen coop and raised beds! We enjoy local woodland and country walks and eating lots of local cheeses from the nearby cheese producers! We cant wait to welcome you here!
Quiet rural hamlet, near small town of Wincanton which has many everyday shops and amenities. Easy access just off A303.
There is ample private parking for Lodge visitors. Visitors will need to have their own means of transport or hire a Taxi when wishing to travel further afield, however Wincanton town can be reached in 5 mins, and it has a bus and coach station at the local Memorial hall. In nearby Castle Cary, Bruton, Templecombe & in Gillingham (Dorset) there are regular train services.
