Up in the centre of this quaint village are 3 pubs 2 bakers and plenty of options for tea and coffee and buying essentials. As you arrive, park up in the roadside allocated bay by the house. There is further parking on the roadside as well. On the ground floor there is a utility room with storage for boots and coats, and a kitchen/dining room equipped with all the equipment you should need for your stay. The sitting room has a cosy, homely atmosphere, with the roaring log fire burner creating a warm ambience; put your feet up and watch your favourite shows on the TV. The bathroom is located on the ground floor which is a common yet quirky layout amongst cottages in the Peak District. On the first floor are two double bedrooms with comfortable, soft furnishings. One of the bedrooms has a table if you need to work. The Wi-Fi is good throughout the cottage. At the front is a garden with a bench from which you can enjoy watching the river.
