From the many species of birds, to hares, hedgehogs, deers and foxes you will see most of these if not all of them during your stay. The owners have made a wonderful nature reserve with a wildlife pond and bird feeding area. Take a seat at dusk to watch the barn owls swoop above. The crème de la crème is you are just over a mile from the RSPB bird sanctuary at Bempton Cliffs. Here you can see thousands of migrating seabirds as well as the comical puffins that attract many visitors every year. The lodge is of very high standard and although you have access to further shared gardens, the lodge is quite private and has its own decking with sitting-out area.
