Cathedral View is a 1 king size bed apartment. It is newly decorated with a luxurious bed, classic furnishings and features an abundance of period architectural detailing. The eat-in kitchen with it's marble floor is fully equipped and includes an integrated washer/dryer. There is a compact but elegant marble tiled shower room. There is private parking, free Wifi and an outdoor terrace with lovely valley views. Egyptian cotton linens and towels are all provided and there is central heating throughout. There is huge attention to detail in this stunning apartment and even a cosy wood burning stove.

Interior designers Raymond and Neil purchased historic Woofield in the delightful village of Newland in early 2021 and set about a ground up renovation and complete redecoration of the substantial Grade II building. They share their wonderful home with Minnelli their border terrier. Neil, an acclaimed interior designer with a wealth of international experience working on small luxury hotels as well as serviced apartments and luxury homes, was also an on-screen designer for Changing Rooms and Hot Property New Zealand for many years! Raymond, having joined Neil some years ago and with commercial experience in property development and project management shares his passions and approach to exacting detail and finish. The pair have created "Woofield Accommodation" from two existing apartments and a top floor space at the rear of the Georgian house. Seasoned travellers and with much experience staying in some of the world's best hotels, resorts and luxury accommodation they have made sure the apartments meet their own discerning standards and have used their skills to deliver elegant, stylish and comfortable spaces for holiday makers to enjoy. Design, Architecture, furniture, dogs, art and travel are among their passions. We like to leave our guests to their own devices to enjoy a peaceful stay and have provided everything we can think of to make them more than comfortable. There are walking trails in all directions from the property in this pretty village, discreetly nestled in a picturesque valley in the hills on the border of England and Wales. A sense of idyllic seclusion yet only a short drive to the bustling market towns of Coleford (2 miles) and Monmouth (6 miles) with all the local shops and supermarkets needed to stock up on provisions for your stay. There are many great cafes, pubs and restaurants throughout the area to enjoy meals out from simple fare to Michelin star!.
