The Norfolk Coast path passes along the perimeter of the salt marshes towards Morston then Blakeney to the east, and westwards to Wells-next-the-Sea - a superb walk in either direction, with breath-taking views at any time of year. The handy and popular Stiffkey Stores sells newspapers, household essentials and tempting knick-knacks. Increasingly renowned for its delicious homemade treats, the Monmouth coffee it serves is also not to be missed. Traditional village pub, The Red Lion, offers good food to accompany a warm Norfolk welcome. Less than ten-minutes by car, Binham Priory hosts a range of summer concerts making the most of its excellent acoustics and ambience. Priory Farm provides raw milk, and a dairy shop with cheeses, butter, ice cream and coffee. The Parlour cafe is a recent addition and proving to be very popular. Nearby, Blakeney offers plenty of opportunities to sample local produce with a fantastic deli located in the village. After a long walk, reward yourself with a sweet treat from Two Magpies Bakery. Head out for a day's sea fishing, try your hand at gillying for crab on the harbour, swim, kayak or paddleboard through the creek or join a seal spotting trip from neighbouring Morston.
