Its a large family home in a quiet suburb but close to the airport and city centre and near Murryfield stadium. The house is a shared accomodation and not a 5 star empty 2nd home .
Easy parking 5 buses to City Centre 20 minute ride. For golfers only 654 yards from first tee of Silverknowes Public course . For families and pets great walks on Silverknowes beach less than a mile away. Eating at Toby Carvery 800 yards away in Luariston Farm good priced meals .
We have Jay-beds etc to make up the size of accomidation that you need .
We have had 11 children and now we are empty nesters and retired. We have rooms for up-to 4 people per room ( Double + 2 singles ). So we are opening up our home to supplement my pension and be able to visit 14 grand-children who are currently in , Sweden, London, Derby , Manchester and Australia.
I am currently working on refurbishment as the house has had a lot of wear and tear . Do not come here looking for a 5 star hotel on the cheap. Its cheap as we are looking for budget travelers with no more expectations than going to visit a relative. We do not want people who are looking for a bargain and are content with a goob bed and a shower and even save money by having a kitchen to cook a meal if required.
Silverknowels its a suburb in the north of Edinburgh . It has the sea and golf course as its boundary and a quick way to the airport (onlu 15 minutes by car ). However its also only 15 minutes from the city center . It has 5 buses that terminate here and also a short walk to get the airpoty bus. When the tid is out you can walk out to crammond island or a short hop to the Botanic Gardens . The village Davidson Mains has several take-aways and there is also on only 400 meters from our home. We are 650 yards from the first Tee at a very good public golf course . Wea have a Tescos express andd other mini marts nearbye .
