Company information

We have lived at the farm since 1991, renovating first the farmhouse and then the barns. We enjoy living surrounded by open countryside with fabulous views. The peace and privacy of country living linked with the friendliness of local people make rural life attractive.

Property information

Bank Top Farm Cottages form part of a Grade 2 listed barn which was a former cow shed. The cottages have been carefully converted to form modern cottages whilst retaining certain aspects such as exposed beams and brickwork. The cottages are set within a courtyard across from our farmhouse. Arches Cottage is a mid terraced property while Stable View Cottage is a semi detached property. Martin Cottage is a two bedroom cottage. In the summer months a local farmer has his cattle in our fields. The cottages have outstanding views across open countryside and provide a peaceful and relaxing accommodation with Alton Towers and many popular wedding venues are only 25 minutes away. Our farm Bank Top Farm is located on Bank Top Road Dilhorne ST10 2PN - this road links with the A52 Kingsley Road to Cheadle Staffordshire

Neighbourhood information

Dilhorne is a small village near to Cheadle, in the centre of the village is the Norman church which has been extensively renovated. The Dilhorne recreation center was the original site of Dilhorne Hall - now demolished. The Centre has a refurbished Childrens Play Area with zip wire, modern play equipment and football area. There are two village pubs which are popular with locals - The Royal Oak and Charlie Bassetts - both serve food and have beer gardens. Blake Hall Fishing lakes are 6 minutes away , they have a cafe overlooking the fishing lakes which is open 7am to 1pm and serves a variety of cooked breakfasts
