Property information

Storrbeck Guest House - right in the heart of Whitby A gentle stroll from Storrbeck Guest House brings you to the iconic whalebones, Captain Cook memorial, and stunning views across the harbour to Whitby Abbey. The West Cliff area of Whitby includes the Crescent Garden, Pannett Park, Whitby Pavilion and the cliff lift providing access to the beach huts and the largest beach area in Whitby. It is only a two-minute walk from Storrbeck to Silver Street and Skinner Street where you can explore the many artisan shops, cafes, tearooms, pubs and restaurants – plus, some of the best fish and chips in Whitby. Walkers can easily access the Cleveland Way or take a less strenuous stroll along the coast road to Sandsend. The town centre is a five-minute downhill walk from Storrbeck (although it may take slightly longer on the return leg). Whitby is renowned for its rich history, world-famous Whitby Jet, award-winning food and of course for being the place where Dracula arrived in Britain in Bram Stoker’s gothic novel.
