We are a small local holiday let company that has lived in the area for over twenty years. We love where we live and we can be found, cycling, running or walking along the lovely beaches that dot our coast, enjoying the quiet lanes on our bicycles or running on the trails. We love supporting local events and can share our local secrets if looking for something different, to enjoying local one day courses with local artists, birdwatching trips at Rye Harbour Nature Reserve, or wine tasting at one of the many vineyards that are located in the 1066 area. Our aim is to offer a truly personal service to make your stay at one of our holiday cottages as relaxing as we possibly can. Any queries or issues you may have during your stay, we are here to help. Strand House is a family and dog friendly home on the award winning Whitesands in Camber Sands, only 3 miles from historic Rye and a 7-10 minute walk to the beach. The property has been finished to a high standard with holiday comfort in mind, bluetooth radios, blu-ray and smart TV, Wii games console, books and board games. Four bedrooms, the master bedroom has an ensuite shower room, a double bedroom that can be configured as a twin, single bedroom, and triple room with single bed and children's bunk bed. Family bathroom, with shower facility over the bath and an additional WC cloakroom on the ground floor. Large dining room, lounge and kitchen with separate utility room. French doors out onto an enclosed garden from the lounge and kitchen, with outside seating and fire pit. The garage is a games room with full size table tennis and dart board and a great place to store bicycles and kite surfing kit. Parking for one car on the driveway and further street parking directly outside. Fully equipped for all your self catering needs. Travel cot and high chair available. We will allow one well behaved dog for an additional fee of twenty five pounds per stay. MAX 6 ADULTS

Located in the seaside village of Camber, the property is a short walk from the beautiful sandy beach with seasonal life guards on duty. The village of Camber is a mecca for water-sports and very popular for kite surfing from Jury's Gap, a 5 minute drive from the property. Rye Watersports, offers lessons on sailing, windsurfing and paddle boarding and is a a short drive away. There are several small convenience shops a short walk away, along with a restaurant, several cafes, a wine bar and village pub. The historic town of Rye is 3 miles from the holiday home and has a full calendar of events happening throughout the year, from 'Scallop festival', in February and a very popular Jazz festival in the summer. A stay at Strand House is a great base for exploring all that East Sussex and Kent have to offer, from stately homes and gardens, to castles and nature reserves. Easy to reach from Europe and only 45 minutes from Dover ferry ports and Eurotunnel.
