Many woodland and countryside walks. Completely enclosed dog walking woodland area just down the road. Auquorthies Stone Circle 10 min walk away and visible from the house. Bennachie is a distinctive hill with several tops which is a fabulous place for some low level walks or you can tackle the summit from 3 different car parks. You can walk into Inverurie from East Wing, this will take around 30 mins to the first local supermarket or 40 mins into the centre of Inverurie. There is a shed to store bikes by arrangement and there are lovely mountain biking trails in the nearby woods. You can cycle into Inverurie.........just remember it is downhill on the way there and uphill on the way back! Local taxis are easily contactable. There are many buses and trains into nearby Aberdeen where you will find lots of shops and also the beachfront. Balmoral Castle is a 45 min drive and would be lovely for a day out as you travel up Deeside.
