The Studio is a self-contained apartment next to Jo and David's family home in Thrupp on the outskirts of Stroud. Recently refurbished to a high standard, it has an open plan kitchen; sitting room, en-suite bathroom and is fully equipped for a comfortable and pleasant stay. The Studio has parking, it also has an EV charger which you are welcome to use, EV charging fees apply, (00.30-07.30=0.30p per kw, and 07.30-00.30 =0.60p per kw), we have free Wifi and happily accepts dogs with a extra cleaning fee of 5 Pounds per stay. Please discuss payment with the owners Thrupp is a quiet hamlet only a mile from Stroud town centre. This apartment is an excellent base for enjoying all the delights and amenities of the immediate area and surrounds. Come for a night, come for a week (or more!)

Hello. This is Jo and David. We live with our daughter and cats in Thrupp, on the outskirts of Stroud, Gloucestershire. We moved to Gloucestershire from southeast London in 2019. Since then we have undertaken extensive renovations, one of which is the newly refurbished studio attached to our family home. You are welcome to stay and enjoy the rolling hills and green valleys of Stroud and the abundant delights in the immediate area and beyond. Jo will be looking after bookings and taking care of your needs whilst you are here. We look forward to meeting you.

Thrupp is an excellent base for enjoying the delights and amenities Stroud district has to offer. From award-winning pubs, like Laurie Lee’s favourite, the Woolpack; to the farmer’s market at the heart of Stroud town centre, and the independent boutiques and cafes of Nailsworth. Stroud district is famous for its beautiful walks and bike trails. There is a woodland which is a five minute walk from the studio, and valley walks, commons, woodlands and river walks, and great views literally all over the area! Stroud is just 25 – 35 minutes drive from Gloucester and Cheltenham; around 45 minutes to Bristol, and about an hour to Bath. The studio is an ideal base for exploring this beautiful area whilst enjoying home comforts and conveniences. Come for a night, or come for a week (or more!) Stroud Train station is one 1 mile away and has direct trains to London every hour. It links to the rest of the country via either Cheltenham, Swindon and Reading. Stroud Train station is accessible on foot (around 25 mins), bus, and bike.
