Margate itself has a creative influence over most people who spend time here. I taught myself to kitesurf here & I now instruct & advocate kitesurfing as a lifestyle. We're so lucky in Margate to have an all new wakeboard park called Whitemills Wake on our doorstep. Thanks to our microclimate, we also have some of the best conditions nationally for kitesurfing and SUPing.
