Property information

Swallows Nest is a characterful, cosy space in a newly converted barn that has preserved the original beams and other features to the building that is around 400 years old. The stone comes from the local quarry at Grinshill. The accommodation is up some steps, and it has a desk and chair, a king sized bed, wardrobe, tea and coffee facilities and ensuite. It is situated on a working farm with cattle, surrounded by fields, and accessed down a long drive. Guests can expect stunning views and tranquillity. It will appeal to business people with an easy key safe check-in, those seekers a romantic get-away, walkers wanting to explore Corbet Wood and the Shropshire Way on the door step, and writers.

Neighbourhood information

Local attractions include Attingham Park, Moreton Corbet Castle, Alderford Lake, Hawkstone Park and the many restaurants, shops, museums and prison in Shrewsbury. Ellesmere and Whitchurch are also local.
