In the foothills of the Black Mountains, Talgarth sits within the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park, which offers picturesque landscapes and is home to many outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling, mountain biking and climbing or watersports on the nearby Llangorse Lake.
If you are a foodie then the area is full of great eateries - fantastic fair is served up at nearby Foyles of Glasbury, The Felinfach Griffin or even in the grandeur of the magnificent Llangoed Hall. Talgarth itself is home to the Bridgend Inn which serves up the finest steaks in the County and the town also has a Cantonese takeaway, while traditional Fish and Chips served up to eat in or take away at the Castle Hotel just across the way!
Talgarth nestles between the busy market town of Brecon and the World famous book town of Hay-on-Wye on the English border.
