There are many local attractions to suit all, National Trust properties Powis Castle, Chirk Castle , Erddig and Attingham park also Lake Vyrnwy Dam with a bird hide to see a wide species' of birds and Llanrhaeadr Waterfall, Welshpool and Llanfair light Railway and the Lime Kilns in Llanymynech . For the more active we have Revolution Bike park , Coed Y Brenin and also the new Dyfi Bike park are but a short distance away. We are also the penultimate stop on the Glyndwr Way, one of the National Trail routes. And we also have 20 local walks.
