Situated on the outskirts of the pretty village of Meifod in the beautiful Vyrnwy Valley, 10 minutes from the market town of Welshpool. Tan Y Graig is ideally placed for exploring Mid and North Wales, and an ideal rest stop along the Glyndwr's Way Walk. We are close to the wedding venue of Bryn Gwyn Hall and Lake Vyrnwy Hotel. Tan Y Graig is a family run 4 star establishment offering excellent comfort and surroundings for a wider variety of guests. There are many local attractions to suit all, National Trust properties Powis Castle, Chirk Castle , Erddig and Attingham park also Lake Vyrnwy Dam with a bird hide to see a wide species' of birds and Llanrhaeadr Waterfall, Welshpool and Llanfair light Railway and the Lime Kilns in Llanymynech . For the more active we have Revolution Bike park , Coed Y Brenin and also the new Dyfi Bike park are but a short distance away. We are also the penultimate stop on the Glyndwr Way, one of the National Trail routes. And we also have 20 local walks.
