The Beach Boathouse – Sea Views & Golf Courses Welcome to this colourful, character-packed former lifeboat house – now a truly unique beachfront holiday home in the peaceful coastal hamlet of Westhaven, right next to Carnoustie. Set quite literally on the beach, with golden sands and a shallow bay just steps from your door, it’s the kind of place where you can truly unwind. Whether you’re watching the waves from the picture window or spotting dolphins from the balcony, this is a home that makes it easy to relax, reconnect and soak up the views. And if you feel like a change of pace? It’s just a short stroll to the heart of Carnoustie, where you’ll find local shops, welcoming pubs, and of course, the legendary Championship Carnoustie Golf Links – a must for any golf fan. With four contemporary bedrooms, the Beach Boathouse has been thoughtfully set up to welcome families, friends or golfing groups in comfort. The layout includes: Bedroom 1 - Double bed. Downstairs at the front of the property. Bedroom 2 - King size bed that can be arranged as a twin (2 single beds) on request. Please advise at time of booking. Downstairs at the back of the property. Bedroom 3 - King size bed with en suite. Upstairs at the back of the property. Bedroom 4 - Double bed. Upstairs at the front of the property. The bright, open-plan lounge is the heart of the home, with a log burner for cosy evenings, and a huge picture window overlooking the bay. The handmade dining table seats 8 comfortably, and the modern kitchen is fully equipped for long stays or just a few special meals together. Slide open the doors to the large private balcony, where you can sip your morning coffee or enjoy dinner with the sound of the sea. You might even catch a glimpse of passing dolphins or whales.

The Beach Boathouse sits right on the sand at the end of a row of old fishermen’s cottages, with the beach quite literally on your doorstep. It’s a fantastic spot for paddleboarding, rock pooling or simply soaking up the sun. Despite its peaceful setting, you're just a 10-minute walk from Carnoustie town centre, and a stone’s throw from the world-famous Carnoustie Links Golf Course – shown in the aerial photos within the listing.
