The cabin is a favourite part of our family home, with its unique features of the tranquil and classic, falling in line with a picturesque Bradford-on-Avon, a historic working town. It has complete independence and everything you need for a cabin retreat whatever the weather and whenever. We’ve put a ton of love into it, we think of our guests' safety and comfort as paramount as our own. The Cabin has two powerful heating panels and a heater in the shower/toilet, an incredible king-size mattress, comfortable pillows and soft cotton linens all the way through. It is a place to rest and unwind, and just BE. The spacious garden under the magical tree is for your use only. We live onsite but in a separate building, we are always happy to be of assistance to your stay, for restaurants recommendations, directions, places to visit and we are up for any cultural insights you would like to share. We both worked in corporate training in hospitality, and traveled extensively, it's always rewarding to have people come to stay, recharged and rejuvenated at our place. We have a lovely neighbourhood. The cabin is quiet and shielded away from the road. The bus stop is 80 metres from the house and it takes you to Bath and back for a reasonable price. Train station is just downtown, a 10-15 minute walk with a view. Driving makes it easy to visit Lacock, Stonehenge, Stourhead and Prior Park Landscapes, and many others. The Cabin is in a prime location for having a great little hide-out break or a cosy base near Bath. We provide filtered water in bottles daily, and are happy to take your used plates and cutleries anytime while providing new ones. So your stay is stress free.
You might see a little curious face at our window sometimes, or a little girl coming to greet you occasionally, please do not be alarmed. She is ours and not allowed to free range in the garden during your stay. We are a multicultural family, love a good cuisine, a nice book, and a fulfilling trip exploring all that’s far and near, we are very fortunate to live in this beautiful town with rivers and fields at our doorstep. Nature is empowering and we sure take advantage of it.
The Cabin is at a great location, by Christ Church, The Castle Inn and The George Inn which both serve great food and have lovely settings. There is Sladesbrook Park just up the road, from where you can see the Westbury White Horse. The beautiful and family friendly hotel Woolley Grange is just a 10 minute walk, it has gorgeous ground and kiddy play areas by the Spa, we highly recommend it for a good cuppa and relaxation. There is a convenient store right opposite the house, and two Co-ops which both are just a few minutes away. It is a nice and friendly neighborhood, safe and always welcoming. Bradford-on-Avon is a historic working town, it’s picturesque and one of the most beautiful places to live in England. It has been a hit for British and international visitors. Bradford-on-Avon has its prime location. It’s so close to Bath, and not far from Stonehenge, Avebury, Stourhead, Lacock Abbey (where some scenes of Harry Potter were filmed), many National Trust houses and gardens in and around this town and in the areas of Somerset and Wiltshire. The Hall down the road has lovely wedding fairs and other events. Keep your eyes peeled. Welcome to Bradford-on-Avon.
