Your safety is important to us, as is your comfort and enjoyment of the property. Charles and I both live on site so are always close by to assist you with guidance and advice. You will benefit from full and unrestricted to access to all the Highland Club facilities. These include a fitness gym, tennis court, badminton court, ping pong tables and children's adventure playground. Additionally, you will have full access to the Club Lounge where you will find a professional sized billiards table, children's pool table, table football a range of board games and a range of books. The Club Lounge also has free WiFi as does The Caledonian.

Ben Nevis, Inverness and Drumnadrochit are all less than an hour’s drive away. At Fort Augustus Abbey, you can pack in everything you want in a kids’ holiday from an exciting boat tour on Loch Ness to a relaxed walk around the Abbey grounds making the perfect choice for a self-catering family holiday. The open plan living area is welcoming and comfortable, and stylishly furnished. The fitted kitchen is well equipped and features granite work surfaces. For Activities Fort Augustus has a vast range of fun ways to keep you busy during your holiday. There are great places to eat & drink and the Loch Ness Cruise meeting point is just outside the Abbey. The new South Loch Ness trail and many other paths offer various walking routes and there is often live music in the pubs and bars. Fort Augustus has its own golf course and the Canal Locks have their own unique way of entertaining. There are places to buy ice cream and gift stores to buy your loved ones that special present from the Scottish Highlands. Walking, hiking and cycling are some of the activities Fort Augustus has to offer, so it is just as well there are paths and walks in abundance! The Loch Ness Exhibition Centre is halfway between Fort Augustus and Inverness. It is a fascinating insight to the legend of Loch Ness taking you from the beginning of Scotland’s history to present day. Cruise Loch Ness, just outside the Abbey, and Jacobite Cruises are a short drive along the A82. To explore Loch Ness fast and a little bit bumpy, the RIB is for the adventurous and thrill seekers. Or relax and take in the scenery on the more leisurely Royal Scot with bar for drinks.
