The Coach House is a renovated extension of the Old Vicarage built in 1841. The accommodation is set in the beautiful countryside with an acre of gardens to enjoy and woods to explore, just a 5 minute walk down the road. The gardens have ponds and beautiful views over to the Lake District fells. Our guest accommodation is cosy and features a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom. Guests have a dedicated entrance, and there is a games room/lounge area equipped with a sofa, TV, pool table and dining area. There is a microwave, toaster and fridge. We provide all necessary amenities, including a towels and coffee and tea making facilities. There is one shared space as it houses the host's washing machine, though the host will limit their use of it during short stays. Hosts will access this room is via an outside door (not through guest accommodation). Guests can enjoy our extensive gardens, which include two ponds, one of which is a wildlife pond. There is a designated outdoor seating area for guests to relax and take in the garden. Just a mile down the road is Fellside Wood, perfect for a short walk through the woods and along the river. Our accommodation is attached to the main house but separated by a locked door. We are situated in the village of Old Hutton, surrounded by fields & sheep. An idyllic country location! 2.4 miles from Oxenholme train station, 5 miles from motorway and close to Kendal and Kirkby Lonsdale & 30 minute drive from Windermere.

Phil and Claire live at the Old Vicarage with their 2 children, 2 dogs and 2 cats. We have a busy household, Phil flies for the Air Ambulance and Claire is a designer and illustrator in Kendal.

We live in the beautiful village of Old Hutton. Our property is surrounded by fields and sheep. It is such a special place to live. There is a woodland within 5 minutes walk from our house.
