The Cottage is a spacious and delightful, cosy country cottage, featuring a large dog and child friendly garden. A private rural retreat on the edge of a small farm. Set in the countryside but only 5 minute drive to the local market town Abergavenny. This self catering cottage has a large open plan kitchen, dining room with wood burning stove. The Cottage has 3 bedrooms and all the modern comforts as well as the old beams and stone walls. Providing living and sleeping accommodation on two floors, The Cottage has 3 bedrooms and all the modern comforts as well as the old beams and stone walls. The large open plan kitchen is spacious and modern and provides plenty of room for a family of 5/6. There is a wood-burning stove to light for extra cosy evenings. The Cottage is very pretty from the outside and this continues through to the comfortable and attractive interior. The well-equipped, large kitchen has ample work and storage space as well as an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. There is also a dining table and chairs. The attractive living area has comfortable sofas and chairs, a TV with DVD player, music stereo. There are French doors leading out to the patio. Bedroom 1: Large King-size bedroom.Bedroom 2: a twin room, bedroom 3 single bed. All rooms are light and bright. The bathroom has a bath with shower over, toilet and hand basin. Useful information Bedlinen and towels provided and first basket of logs provided Cot and highchair available Ample parking for 2/ 3 cars Guest access The cottage and large garden. You will have the entire space with everything you might need for a break away. There is a patio with garden furniture overlooking a large garden. Private access and free parking provided next to the cottage. Other things to note Only well Behaved dogs allowed. Please keep dogs downstairs and off the beds and furniture. Many thanks

The Cottage is ideally located for those interested in visiting the pubs and restaurants that have put this region of the country on the "good food map". There are many notably superb places to eat close by. These include two Michelin starred restaurants, The Walnut Tree and The Crown at Whitebrook. The Billiard Room is also within easy reach of the Bell at Skenfrith, and the Hardwick Restaurant. In Abergavenny you will find other exciting places to eat there is prize-winning afternoon tea at the Angel, you could get a trendy coffee in the Bean and Bread, for local pub food there is the Growfield pub, or a spot of lunch at The Chapel. The Billiard Room is 3 miles from the local market town Abergavenny. Abergavenny has been a market town for centuries and holds markets on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday in and behind the town Hall. Every September Abergavenny holds a fantastic and extremely popular food festival. Situated in the Welsh county of Monmouthshire, we have the Black Mountains to the north, the Brecon Beacons to the west, and some wonderful mountains surrounding the small market town of Abergavenny. This offers fabulous walking with many footpaths and hikes to choose from. The nearby town of Crickhowell is definitely worth a visit and hosts a walking festival, in and around the Black Mountains. There are many local castles to visit, Raglan castle is always very popular with the children and they often hold events during the summer and festive periods. White caste has its own vineyard and is open for wine tasting! There is also Sugar Loaf vineyards, situated at the bottom of the Sugarloaf mountain. You can sit here and enjoy a glass of wine and food platter. The Monmouthshire & Brecon canal is nearby, you can hire a boat for the day, there are pubs along the way to stop and have lunch in, or moor up along the towpath to explore with a picnic.
