Set in the idyllic village of Hankerton, amidst beautiful gardens, The Cottage comprises of a double bedroom with a luxurious Kingsize bed, a full bathroom , lounge with home entertainment and dining area and a kitchenette. There is ample parking on site. Next door is a spa, there is the use of a tennis court (racquets and balls provided) and bicycles are also available for use. Close by there are many wonderful walks. The cottage is the perfect romantic retreat, where you can unwind and relax.

Outward going sporty person who enjoys people. We have fresh vegetables from the garden, fresh eggs from the chickens and a tennis court for recreation. There is also a spa on the premises and golf courses and wonderful walks around, as well as some delicious food at the local restaurants within walking distance. Hankerton is a small Cotswold village between Malmesbury and Tetbury. Swindon Bath and Cheltenham are near. Nearby Malmesbury is an historic town with a wonderful Abbey that you might wish to visit. A little further, Tetbury has some wonderful antique shops and delicatessens to browse and the famous Highgrove Shop, which is well worth a visit. Within ten miles is the market town of Cirencester, which is at the heart of the Cotswolds. there are many shops and an interesting Roman museum. Moreton in the Marsh, Bourton on the Water, Stow on the Wold famous Cotswold villages are very near. The Arboretum at Westonbirt is very near and a must to visit .For water sports, one can enjoy an abundance of activities such as sailing, jet ski, kite surfing and fishing around the many lakes of the Cotswold Water Parks, a few miles away. Womad festival is 2 miles away Badminton 1/2 hour away Fairford Air Show 1/2 hour away There are plenty of taxis but we would recommend providing your own transport. Trains run from Kemble station to London Paddington directly every two hours, and Kemble is five miles from the cottage. Your hostess could arrange transport to and from the station, and there is also a rental car business that will deliver to the station, if you so wish.
