Featuring our woodfired hot tub (2 NIGHT BOOKINGS ONLY additional cost for 1 night stay).Enjoy the experience of our OFF GRID 12V (Solar powered, so no HAIRDRYERS) Shepherds Huts which are traditionally built by ourselves. If you LIKE camping you will love the outdoors with a bit of comfort. The huts have a double bed and a single bunk suitable for children over 6 years of age or small adults. With 3 huts we sleep up to 9 (2 adults 1x child per hut for eg). The Green interior hut is further away from the bathroom 25m if booked for a group of more than 4 adults. The site will be EXCLUSIVE to your booking, so no one else on site. Set in a rural location in Castle Combe and being VERY NEAR to the famous racetrack which opened in 1951. On Race days we experience some track noise during the day. A great base for walking (appropriate footwear needed) cycling or star gazing. Various shops, supermarkets and pubs within a 5 mile radius. All amenities are OFF GRID (12v) with separate cooking (firepit/BBQ), small fridge and bathroom facilities. All logs will be supplied for stoves and outside BBQ/firepit. No Tv or Wifi! So come and enjoy the tranquility without a screen. Please respect our huts, wildlife and countryside(wear appropriate clothing for weather conditions). We have little light pollution but there are torches and lanterns available in the huts. Dog friendly, bowls and towels too.

We have been looking after holiday properties and event venues for the past 20 years. Having built our own Shepherds huts its nice to be able to offer something a bit different in the countryside and be able to enjoy the Wiltshire landscape and wildlife. The huts are situated in in a newly planted orchard (on grass and weather dependent we do get some muddy patches so wellies sometimes are must!) where we are encouraging wildlife.

The village of Castle Combe has be used for many blockbuster films in the past from Doctor Dolittle, Stardust and Warhorse. Being in walking distance (approx 15min) its a nice stroll for an ice cream or visit to the local pub for refreshments. We also very close to the Castle Combe Racing Circuit for the petrol heads which has various events throughout the year. Certain events can create noise. Going further afield we are close to the village of Lacock where the filming of Harry Potter took place or the beautiful city of Bath.
