Our Grand Gentleman Victorian Villa is located at the gateway to Ilfracombe. It provides a modern, comfortable and convenient base to explore what North Devon has to offer. Our Bed and Breakfast offers three newly refurbished en-suite bedrooms, with another bedroom completed in summer 2025. Then two more renovated bedrooms in our future plans. A large, light and airy breakfast room, overlooking the edge of the town and views of the valley, boasts a relaxing tranquil environment to enjoy your morning breakfast, read your newspapers and plan your day’s activities. lfracombe is a lovely Coastal town with many footpaths to tempt you into taking some beautiful walks around the coastline and streets. The town also offers a wide range of attractions like the unique stainless steel and bronze statue, Verity, created by Damien Hirst. The 20.25-metre tall sculpture stands on the pier at the entrance to the harbour, looking out over the Bristol Channel towards South Wales. It has been loaned to the town for 20 years in 2012. There are also lots of stunning places to rest-up, have lunch/evening meals and enjoy a drink of your choice. At Ilfracombe Harbour, you can jump on a boat to Lundy Island; this island is about 3 miles long and 5/8ths of a mile wide and has had a long and turbulent history! You can also choose from many other boats trips too. Bicclescombe Park is also close by and a “must do” visit; there are tennis courts at the park, as well as a lovely Café, serving the most amazing cakes. Within a 10-20 minute drive, you can also be on the reknowned Woolcombe, Saunton or Croyde beaches.
