Το πρόσφατα ανακαινισμένο The Ferry Inn βρίσκεται στο Scrabster και είναι το τελευταίο ξενοδοχείο στον αυτοκινητόδρομο Α9. Προσφέρει υπέροχη θέα στη θάλασσα. Ακριβώς βόρεια του Thurso, το λιμάνι του Scrabster είναι η πύλη για τα νησιά Orkney. Το φημισμένο εστιατόριο The Upperdeck έχει καταπληκτική ψησταριά και επίσης ειδικεύεται στα αλιευμένα θαλασσινά της περιοχής. Το γεμάτο ζωή Popeye είναι ένα μπαρ ανοιχτό στο κοινό, με τηλεόραση ευρείας οθόνης που προβάλλει αθλητικά προγράμματα.
