The Goose Nest is a Shepherds Hut, nestled by our private lake and surrounded by peaceful woodland. Finished to a luxurious high standard offering a king sized bed, copper basin, log burner, smart TV, wifi, kitchen, leather sofa, stunning lake side views from the bed and sofa, with outdoor furniture, barbecue, firepit and use of boat.

We have been hosting for over 7 years, love meeting people and introducing them to this beautiful part of Cornwall. We have a westie and 2 children. We love gardening (and we hope you will enjoy our garden and lake too), painting, walking around our beautiful woodland and swimming (in our lake!)

Cardinham woods is over 650 acres of woodland, with lots of stunning trails to discover, there's even a cafe in the woods that you can walk directly to from The Goose Nest. We also have a sister property (The Goat House cottage) which allows dogs. We can organise bike hire for you and you can use our boat to go around the lake (there's a little island to circum-navigate!) Cardinham village is about a mile away, a small village with a beautiful church, a primary school and once a month a Pop Up Pub! The fields surrounding Cardinham are great walking, and from The Goose Nest you can easily walk, cycle or hike up a few hills! We have 2 neighbours, that's it, it really is very peaceful and tranquil here. To get to The Goose Nest you park up, cross a stream, up a little path and then arrive at our lake. Wheelbarrows will be provided!
