THE KINGS ARMS is a traditional 17th century Cornish Inn with slate floor bar & olde world lounge, in a beautiful rural location, Stratton has an excellent General Store with Post Office & 2 Pubs, we offer Quality real ales & home cooked food in a lovely cosy atmosphere, we are situated 5 minutes from beautiful sandy beaches and stunning cliff walks within 15 minutes drive from the Eden project being only an hour away. Bude which is 2 miles and on the way there is a large Morrisons Store with petrol station, Lidl Store, B&M retail Store with Garden Centre. We have 2 churches in Stratton a Methodist church & St. Andrews C Of E church. Stratton also has a hospital, pharmacy & medical Centre

Neighbourhood information

Historic town of Stratton has a history going back to the time of King Alfred and was mentioned in the Doomesday Book of 1086. Perhaps the most important date in the history of Stratton came on 16th May 1643 (Battle of Stratton) St Andrew's Church dates back to the 14th century. During the medieval period Stratton had a thriving industry dealing in Leather.
