Just 1.5 miles (2.5 km) from Gatwick Airport, this imposing Victorian house offers premium 4-star en-suite guest accommodation, parking, airport transfers and free Wi-Fi. Only a 5-minute drive from the airport, but not under a flight path, the award-winning The Lawn Guest House Gatwick is family run. Each room features an en suite bathroom, a TV, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. Overnight parking is available on site and airport transfers are available by prior arrangement at surcharge. Long-term holiday parking is available by arrangement at an additional cost. A Continental breakfast is served daily. The guest house is just 5 minutes walk to Horley Railway Station, with regular direct trains to the airport and to central London in 30 minutes. The property is a 1-minute walk to Horley town centre, where many restaurants and shops can be found for lunch/evening meals. Guests arriving after 21:30 are asked to inform the hotel in advance to ensure that guests receive information about the late-entry system.

Hello, My name is Quasim. I have been in the hospitality industry for 16 years and feel very fortunate to be running a beautiful Victorian Guest House which is only a 5 minute drive from London Gatwick Airport, where we look after our guests from all over the globe. I have made significant improvements to the decor and brought the place back from a tired old house to a modern, bright and airy home. My vision of continued investment in the business has now paid off as I feel happy with the standard of accommodation that I can now offer to my guests.

Built in 1898 it has so much history, it was even a private school for many years! All of our rooms have now been fully refurbished and I'm very pleased with the continious investment we had put in because the results now show. We have also completed a full refurbishment to the Reception Lounge, communal areas and Breakfast Room which can now lend us to rebrand ourselves as a premium Guest House.

The Lawn is situated in a quiet leafy conservation area of Horley, Surrey. Although 4 to 5 minutes drive to Gatwick Airport we are well away from the flight path so there is almost no aircraft noise. In Horley you will find around 12 different restaurants from Spanish, Italian, Thai, Indian, British and some takeaways such as Chinese, Fried Chicken and Kebabs, not forgetting a few pubs with restaurants. Most are between 2 to 5 minute walk away and we are situated a minutes walk to the centre of Horley Town. Our local train station is a 5 minute walk which has a direct link to Central London in 36 minutes so there is no changing trains! The motorway network with Junction 9 of M23 is also a 5 minute drive, and if you wanted to drive to the seaside Brighton is only 30 minute away.

You must use a valid credit card when booking, as hotel may take payment prior to arrival.

A Gatwick Airport Guest transfer service runs from 09:00 until 21:00 by prior arrangement at a surcharge and at all other times is arranged via a local taxi company. Transfer to Heathrow or other airports available from GBP 80.

Long term holiday parking is charged from GBP 7 per day and charges may increase due to the size of vehicle and peak season. The hotel will need to keep your car key so your car can be driven to the rear of the property. Please contact the property to check availability for holiday parking.
