It is a wonderful place to observe bird migration. Our reserve has a large group of more than 2709 species of birds that have been recorded around the area.
We also have great cycling routes such as Winchelsea & Rye Harbour Nature Reserve loop and Pett Level Road loop from Winchelsea. On the way you will see historic landmarks and great country side views. If you don’t have a bike and wanted to try something different. We have our own electric e-bikes which we can hire out to you for a day etc. We also have free onside bike storage to lock your bicycles up at night securely and CCTV on site with facilities to charge your own E-bike.
