Sowerbys Holiday Cottages started up in 2002 and has grown gradually with a portfolio of 300 hand-picked cottages we would all like to stay in. Appreciating the need to be nearby in the event of any issues that need resolving, we have deliberately limited the range of our cottages to a relatively small localised area of outstanding natural beauty, within 20 minutes drive of Burnham Market. We pride ourselves on offering a personal, professional service to both our owners and our guests. Our owners can relax in the knowledge that we are looking after all aspects of their holiday homes; and our guests can relax knowing that we all live locally and have a genuine desire to help in the event of an emergency, or simply to offer local advice on what to do, where to eat etc.

The Loft is a beautifully presented, spacious contemporary apartment, situated within a Victorian period townhouse in a prime location with stunning sea views. This top floor apartment has been tastefully refurbished to an extremely high standard with great care and attention to detail, to ensure all is perfect for a luxurious and relaxing stay by the sea. Guests are assured a good night's sleep in the boutique hotel style king-size bedroom, with a second single bedroom and contemporary bathroom. There is a light and airy living area with a vaulted ceiling with plenty of space to relax or to cook and dine within the well-equipped kitchen. It's ideally located on the north Norfolk coast within steps from Hunstanton's blue flag sandy beach, Boston Square's award winning Sensory Gardens and local attractions a wide choice of places to eat and drink. The Loft is ideally situated on the north Norfolk coast with attractions such as The Wash National Nature Reserve and RSPB reserves of Snettisham, Holme and Titchwell within easy reach. The owner will now accept a small dog in The Loft.

Burnham Market A delightful Georgian village which is situated a stone’s throw away from the glorious North Norfolk coastline and is the largest of the 7 Burnham villages. At its centre is a large village green surrounded by striking Queen Anne and Georgian buildings, with 2 churches that lie at each end of its broad main street. Unlike many other English towns which are dominated by multiples, Burnham Market has a traditional post office, butcher, baker, hardware shop, fish shop and chemist for all the necessities of everyday life, but there are also over 30 highly original independent and specialist shops, selling a wide range of exciting deli products, vibrant and stylish accessories for home and garden, smart clothes shops, and books old and new. There are some great places to eat, the best being the renowned Hoste Arms which is a 17th Century old coaching house and is open all day. As a result Burnham Market attracts many celebrities and cosmopolitan visitors, getting very crowded in the holiday periods, earning the nickname “Chelsea-on-Sea.” There is an annual summer music festival with professional musicians entertaining residents and holiday makers in various venues such as the lovely church of Burnham Westgate at the western edge of the village. From the end of November the village is beautifully lit with Christmas lights and it makes the perfect place to visit for Christmas shopping.
