The Moorings is perfectly located for a relaxing family holiday. Situated in the popular Downalong area of St Ives it is nestled between Porthmeor and Porthgwidden beaches, with the Town Center, Harbour and Tate Gallery only minutes away. This spacious accommodation sleeps eight with off site parking for one car, it is a great base for exploring all that Cornwall has to offer. The whole family will enjoy the light and airy open plan living area; lounge/diner and kitchen located on the first floor. The beautiful lounge with high ceilings and open beams, provides comfortable seating, a large Smart TV and DVD player. The kitchen is fitted with electric oven, halogen hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washing machine. The tumble dryer is located in a cupboard off the kitchen. A large dining table for eight allows all the family to sit and eat together. Also located on this floor is the master bedroom with kingsize bed, Smart TV and shower en-suite. On the ground floor there are two further bedrooms; a double bedroom which can be organised with a kingsize bed or twin room (two single beds), plus the family suite, offering a kingsize bed and bunk beds.

St Ives is a world-renowned holiday destination with numerous attractions that never fails to delight visitors. You can explore the small, cobbled streets enjoying the multitude of individual shops. The quaint Downalong area bordering the harbour and bedecked in flowers throughout the summer allows visitors to step back in time and reflect on St Ives’ fishing heritage. St Ives is ringed by magnificent award winning beaches offering visitors safe bathing and various activities including surfing, diving, boat trips and fishing. There are many superb restaurants specialising in fresh seafood. The town is famous as an art centre. Many artists have been drawn to the area and the town hosts the prestigious Tate Gallery and Barbara Hepworth museum.
