The village of Gorsley lies on the northern edge of the Royal Forest of Dean, on the Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Gloucestershire borders and is overlooked by May Hill and Malvern Hills with a good landscape view of the Brecon Beacons mountains. Gorsley offers a well-stocked village shop with Post Office and off licence, along with a popular free house pub with restaurant that's renowned for its Nepalese cuisine both in the county and beyond. The Three Choirs Way and Herefordshire Trail pass close to the village, whilst the village itself is set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is surrounded by established woodlands which boast many popular walks. This stunning part of the country offers many activities and attractions, including numerous trails that can be enjoyed on foot, horseback or bicycle, as well as a high wire rope course, abseiling, caving and kayaking.
